Frontier Technologies Consortium Global, LLC is an international established in 2008, inspired by Dr. Peilin Luo’s concept, and based on Jin Luo’s life-time careering in engineering, he established Frontier Technologies.

CEO & Chief Engineer: Jin Luo (The Engineer)

Foundation Visual Technology R&D: Jin Luo entered the Hollywood film industry in the early 1980s. As an early pioneer in computer vision technologies, silicon implementation of neural networks, and digital signal processing, his primary interest was visual technology development and applications. Before Hollywood, Jin’s career path started in 1985 when he was admitted to Caltech for graduate studies in Computer Science. At Caltech and Tanner Research (Pasadena, CA), Jin served as a staff researcher, a system engineer, director of consulting and engineering services, and CAD product technical director. He was also a staff researcher at Rockwell Science Center.  He spent more than 18 years experience working for the US government research contract in advanced integrate circuit (IC) designs.

Semiconductor Industry: In 2003 Jin expanded his technology holdings co-founding CAD company Paragon IC Solutions, Inc., made the first and ever China joint venture who successfully sold EDA design tools in the world market. In 2005 he established an IC design consulting firm for Silicon Foundry (SMIC, Shanghai) for Circuit IP. In 2006 Jin and Jeet Asher’s General Circuits was acquired by a US capital DSP startup (Vivace Semiconductor, Boston, MA and Beijing).

International Development: Since 2009, FTC’s consulting diversified into China’s emerging technologies sectors, including, microelectronics (raised US Capital for a DSP design),  bio-engineering and pharmaceutical technologies, China and North America development for Marenco Swisshelicopter AG, post-LED new-material light sources, and Digital Media and Film Virtual Production. During 2005-2013, Jin was responsible for one hundreds millions plus USD international capital investment for technology startups. Culminating in 2011with an international feasibility study for a $5.6B dollar US and China cooperation to manufacture OLED and IC foundries.

Film Technology & Industry: In 2010 Jin began consulting to digital studios in Hollywood. His client list included Rhythm & Hues Studios, then a leader in photoreal CG production. Jin Luo’s expertise led to many advancements in computer imagery and processing. He also raised capital for R&H’s expansion into overseas operations. During this time Jin established several successful film production partnerships in China and Malaysia, including JH Film Tech PEK, Ltd., Jin raised $10M+ in VFX production joint venture in China, and contributed extremely significancet for the Chinese film industry at the time.  Jin’s efforts helped technically secure four of China’s major VFX films in 2017-2019, contributing 2 record-breaking box office earnings.

Publication: Jin Luo is fluent in traditional Chinese culture, history, modern politics, and holds several distinguished honors in comparative literature (English and Chinese). Jin has 15+ publications in microelectronics documented in major global professional journals. He was inventor of 2 US patents in semiconductor fabrication circuit-level infrastructure, he was lead inventor of 6 China invention patents in mixed-signal IC circuit designs, and registered 5 China mask-rights of integrated circuits for semiconductor imager technologies. He authored two books in Chinese literature and biography. In 2017, Jin began developing film/TV content. In 2022 he started creation of cinematic novellas. 

North Forty

North Forty Creative Designs, Inc. is a digital media design studio established in 2005 (Malibou, California), owned and operated by Dr. Linda Wall and Mr. Craig Talmy. They specializing with blending multiple discipline in sophisticated visual productions: Motion Graphic Designs, Entertainment Environmental Analysis and Planning, Computer Graphic (digital panel and immersive VR displays), motion victual visual effect and animation.

Chief Digital Media Director: Linda Wall, PhD, (The Scholar)

Initially a designer and Motion Graphics artist, Linda has lead teams of artists in several mixed media productions. Due to her extensive background in information analysis and design, Dr. Wall manages creative and production pipelines spanning multiple technological and creative disciplines. As a key co-founder of StudioX, Linda is the most credible and accountable member of StudioX’s leadership team.

Foundation Multimedia Design Practices: She began her career in Milan Italy as a designer for Artemide, Vitra, and Campari. Linda returned to the United States to become Senior Designer at WET Design where she led design work for interactive environmental projects, design-based R&D, mock-ups, client presentations, testing, and programming for multiple international projects. Interactive environment design projects include: Philippe Stark, Kirin Beer Headquarters Tokyo Japan, King Fahd International Airport, Saudi Arabia, The Bellagio Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas (copyright by WET Ent.), Arthur Erickson California Plaza, Los Angeles, King Fahd International Airport in Saudi Arabia, Bechtel Yeongdeungpo in Seoul, Korea, 

Motion Graphics: Linda has designed major animated immersive films for, Resort World’s Genting SkyWorld Theme Park, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Lotte World Songpa-Gu, Seoul, Korea, Korean Expo Circle Vision film for Korean Airlines, and interactive way-finding and learning modules for SoFi Stadium, Los Angeles. Linda has designed, animated, and produced commercials and visual promotions for Infiniti, Nissan, Dodge, Nike, MCA, The Rolling Stones Voodoo Lounge, SAP Software Solutions, Quantum, Kingston, DataCore, Fibre Channel & SAN Consortium. She has created B2B white paper visualization explained videos for Google, Ebay, The Learning Processor, Davidson & Associates, UCLA Allergic Rhinitis Pharmaceutical, CompuCook, and Bechtel International, and Fashion Finishing School to name a few. 

Emerging academics: Linda holds degrees in design, including a PhD in environmental analysis & design computer science research on social uses and design implications of virtual environments. Linda specializes is dense data analysis & design (communicating complex ideas to diverse audiences). 
Dr. Wall works on the conceptualization and research in how people navigate virtual environments and how they interact, and in turn, impact physically-based environments. This includes studies in:  human-computer interaction, ergonomic engineering, sociology of information, and the social analysis of technological systems. This has ultimately led to her conservation and charity work in environmental preservation and behavior modification through technology. 
Dr. Wall has designed and supervised the implementation of on-line and f2f instructional content at UCLA University Los Angeles, and Pepperdine University Los Angeles.

Chief Creative Art Director: Craig Talmy, (The Creator)

Craig Talmy has been supervised visual effects and directed animation for more that 40 years.  credited in many Hollywood hit VFX movies since 1980s. As a key co-founder of StudioX he acts as  

Industry and Innovation: With over thirty years in the entertainment industry, Craig brings both a critical artistic eye and solid technical know-how to his projects. He started in traditional special effects with films such as Beetle Juice, and stop motion projects like Bud Bowl III. With Species, he was involved in one of the first motion-capture productions. This background in film, lighting, and timing continues to influence his work at the intersection of the real and the computer-generated. 

Team Lead Artist: As a director, Craig excels as a collaborator within diverse technical and creative teams and consistently translates multiple and often conflicting artistic, technological, and budgetary requirements into performance excellence. Craig has extensive experience in F2F and long distance direction and supervision with remote teams, including India, China, and Malaysia. He has a demonstrated ability to successfully interact in real-time, optimizing performance and team efficiency across multiple cultures. 

Animation Director: In the world of feature films, Craig serves as director of animation. His credits include Crazy Alien, Harry Potter & The Sorcerer’s Stone, Marmaduke, Night at the Museum 2, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, Night at the Museum, Charlotte’s Web, Big Miracle, Red Riding Hood, The Chronicles of Riddick, The Cat in the Hat, and Dr. Dolittle 2. Many of these include the direction of international teams. Pre digital era feature films include, Battle Juice, Alien 3, Batman Returns, Big Top PeeWee, Oblivion 2: Backlash, and Journey to the Center of the Earth.

Brand Figure Creations: Among Craig’s many notable commercial projects, he has directed the gecko for the ubiquitous GEICO campaign. Other broadcast commercials include Coca-Cola, Dodge, Target, Skippy, Gameboy, Disney Wild Animal Park, Lucky’s, and The Hartford Financial Services Group. Pre digital spots include, McDonalds, Budweiser Bud Bowl, Samsonite, Milgert, DairyGold.

VFX Lecture: Craig developed a seminal curriculum to expose students to the vast career opportunities within film and visual effects. His vivid lecture with hundreds of his own visual creations has been welcomed by professionals, students, administrators and film enthusiasts.  The course is scalable, can be configured for 4 hours to 4-weeks training, or a full-semester course. 

Specialty projects in China: Song Rhythm the Money Lake, the Unbearable Lowness of Being (originally a Chinese-Canadian situation-drama/comedy series It’s All Your Fault). Digital media productions include immersive animation shows such as, Monkey King You’re in Control immersive VR ride for Wanda Group,Wuhan, Red Darwin 5-scene sequential Immersive VR Ride, Underground Cretaceous VR Ride.

Craig has contributed to international film festivals. His early VFX career is documented by legendary photographer Galen Rowell in the book A Day in the Life of Hollywood.

Breaking Through Now Media

BreakThrough Now Media (BNM) is the brainchild of StudioX. The brand was founded by Rosemond Perdue, not only experienced to distribute Hollywood and European contents, BNM has recent emphasis includes: (1) instruction and advisory to Asian film makers to enter mainstream world market; (2) brokers and trades StudioX’s proprietary content developments and IPs in a variety of digital media and film formats, seeking for worldwide close-to-market international co-production partners; (3) marketing, contracting and licensing proprietary solutions (media contents as well engineering designs) of StudioX’ original or other vendors’ theme park immersive rides’.

Chief Distribution Executive: Rosemond Perdue (The Producer)

Rosemond is an experienced independent international content distributor and producer, based in Hollywood, actively practiced in trading markets in Europe, Asia and North America, mainstream documentaries, motion pictures and television series. She graduated in Fine Art from American Academy of Dramatic Arts, NYC

Market Specializing: in Eurasia and Hispanic Sphere development markets. she has successfully discovered and distributed cinematic and digital media content internationally, with a diverse roster of feature films, children animations, animal and crime comedy actions, mystery and sci-fi thrillers, in-format films, TV/network series, social network reality features, and reality shows.

International Experiences: began as a founding partner of Bungalow 3, bringing TV shows and channels to international markets for clients such as: Sony, CBS, and Universal.

Asian Entertainment: An Asian passion led her to found Breakthrough Now Media — focusing on Asian broadcasters, production companies and helping creators like Sera Film Turkey, Keyring Animation Korea, and TV Asahi Japan reach new viewers and platforms around the world. She wants the world to love Asian content as much as she does.

Video Production Achievements: she was selected for the 2016 BlogHer Voices of the Year. As a producer, she created TV and digital series for Discovery, HGTV, Lifetime, and Disney. Rosemond was recently voted by the MIP TV conference as a 2020 Global Producer to Watch. She has been a guest lecturer and consultant for The Format People and KOCCA (the Korean government’s creative content agency). Rosemond is on-board with Netflix|Stage32, as a blogger and distributor. 

International Exchanges: EMMY endorsed Catalyst Content Festival and Story Road International Institute. In 2021 she successfully hosted Seoul-Duluth International Content Festival, sponsored by KOCCA, US State Department and Duluth/Seoul Municipals. In extension she consults to the US Consulate in Soul Korea, and teaches in Diplomat Outreach in Seoul to filmmaking community, contributing current efforts to bring Korean cultural contents to the world mainstream entertainment market.
